Well it finally happened... The guy that owned the land that I have hunted for the last 6 years passed away a couple of weeks ago and his son took over his land. The son wants to sell the land so he told me that I could not hunt there any more.

I am looking for a place that I can take the family (wife and 3 young boys). I would prefer something as close to DFW as possible as it takes me about an hour to load everything up smile. I am looking for a year round lease so we can utilize it during the summer so I can take the boys and get the outdoors. My boys are 4,3 and 2 so it will be awhile before they actually start hunting, but still want to get them out there.

Please let me know if there is still anything out there!

And I know my post count is low... I just found the link on TFF... lol

Shooter... PM me what ya got. You are right up the road from my Uncle. He is off Co Rd. 2332 where 2326 and 2332 meet.

Also... I got my hunters safety there at the gun range up the road. Not sure if it was the gun club, but the gate was locked when I got there and I had to wait on someone to open it.

Lane... Thanks for the PM. Sounds like a great place, unfortunately its a little far for me. If I didn't have the kids I would be all over that deal!

Still looking, but at this point it will probably be for next year.
