This buck has a pretty wide rack for what I think is a 6 point with pretty nice brow tines. (Not a great picture)How old do you think he is? He is pretty stout. I was thinking maybe 3 to 3.5. May be wrong but that is why I am asking the pros.

Looks more like 4.5 to me. You got any other pics of him? Post 'em if you got 'em.

My first impression was he was 5.5 yr old. But he is very thin bodied and long legged like a 3 yr old though. Like to see more pics when you get them.

Yeah, more pics would help. I would think he was 3.5 but I would like to see more pics to make a determination.

No other pics of the deer above. Got this one of another though. Might be the same deer.

3.5, nice deer. Is he an 8 point, or just 7? Was it a tough summer in your area, drought?

I don't think he's 3.5. Definitely older. I'm sticking with 4.5 but 5.5 is not out of the question.

I'll go 3-3.5. Just don't have what I look for in a 4-6 y/o. Neck too thin long and skinny thur legs, front and back. I'm not an expert though.

He is an 8 but now a 7 with one point broken off. 1st pic, I thought he was a 6. Still thinking he is 3.5. Has alot of features of a 4.5 but not real sure. Think he might be a good deer to bring down this year.

It was actually a pretty wet summer this year in CENTEX and on the lease. Plenty of water.

I'll go twith 4.5 due to the thick body. Doesn't look sleek enough for a 3.5 in my book.

Looks 4.5 to me dave. To me his neck and body are a little to filled out to be 3.5.

Which camera do you suggest??? Maybe a pic of deer from your camera would help to see the quality of your suggestion.

My plan is to shoot for meat in the freezer this year. Will look for the trophy next year.
