After our conversation... (he enlightened me in the event of a catastropy, it is likely ammo from sporting goods store will taken first in all calibers) I should only make my go to firearms ones that you will be able to easily find ammo for. So that would lead me to military or law enforcement calibers which makes perfect sense. So that being said, 7.62x51 (.308), 7.62x39, 5.56 (.223), 9mm, .45 auto, 12 gauge and of course .22 cal.

parchaser, that's why i chose the 308, 9mm & 22. nothing wrong with a 22, you can carry 1000 rounds and it doesn't weigh anything. plus, for the most part, it will do what you'll need it to do with minimal noise. the supressor option is not realistic for the majority of us otherwise surpessor & heavier round would obviously be preferred.
