I have a Remington 870 12 gauge that is 3 years old. It has been used in the saltmarsh but always cleaned after use and kept inside the house.

It is in good condition.

My question is, how much should I ask for this gun? I upgraded this past season. And no longer need this gun.

870 Express or 870 Wingmaster?

Never sell an 870. Unless you have the marine model or a Wingmaster, you're either holding a useful piece of metal or about $120. To me, I can do a lot more with a spare 870 than I can with $120...

It is the 870 Express. Not the Super Magnum though. It holds 2 3/4" or 3" shells.

It also has the synthetic wood finish not the black synthetic.

Not trying to sell it just yet. Just figuring what it is worth...

And according to basspro.com and academy it costs $319.99 new.

And I know for a fact I paid more than $220.00 for mine 3 years ago. It was over $300 then too.

I would ask $200 and take the first $150 offered. Too many bad reviews on the newer 870's. I ended up buying a 70's model for $150 last season and never thought twice about it. The newer ones just arent the same, probably good enough for most hunters, but not the same old trusted 870.
