I'm paying the penalty for my recent gun purchase. I just told my wife that we could go to Canton for the flea market on opening weekend of rifle season. Guess I won't get first crack at the deer in my area..hoping the big 11 pointer that I've seen can stay aloof for an extra couple of days until I can get out on Monday. The upside is I planned my vacation well and have the first two weeks of November off...so there will be quite a bit of hunting going on.
I'd be a vegitarian too if bacon grew on trees.

Got one, but I'm a newbie and I don't think I set up my popup blind on active game trails...don't have deer using them recently on my camera. I'm a bit nervous about moving it over near the trails they use to get into my feeder as I don't want to bump them right before rifle season.
I'd be a vegitarian too if bacon grew on trees.

Just rent her a Uhaul trailer and give her the credit cards. This way she knows you really care.

Lost your manhood. P-whipped. Do you really need your wife's permission to hunt? Where do you all get these women that don't like outdoor sports? My wife hunts and fish. That was a prerequisite prior to marrying her. If she is busy I go hunting and fishing whenever I want to. She goes with me when there is time in her schedule, but she has never held me back from doing what I like to do. Best partner I ever had. Must have something to do with being a South TX girl. Don't need no kitchen pass to do what I like doing. Man up and get a set. Wife ready to go hunting. Wife catching in nasty [censored] weather.

Bring on the popcorn, peanuts, elephants and whatever. Reclaim your nads boys. Pics ought to assist you. Notice the manicured nails on my wife. She can be girly, girly but she is deadly with a gun or a fishing pole. Only mistake I made was teaching her to shoot. Things go south then I can never leave without 1 between the eyes and 2 in the chest as I taught her. She is that good with a gun.

Well, uh, let me just say that there is nothing short of a death in the family that will cause me to miss opening day. Canton happens every month. I'll just leave it at that since I don't know: 1) how important hunting really is to you or 2) how strong a role your wife played in this decision.
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

Wife encouraged me as long as she could hunt a couple times as well. Good quality time spent together. Little adult fun in the boat and deer stand is a plus as well. Enough said.

I love my wife and enjoy spending time with her. She's not much for hunting herself but doesn't have an issue with me going. She has been wanting to go to Canton for a while now. This weekend didn't work out and December is already booked with business, so November it is. I'll be off work for the following two weeks so I'll get my time in the blind. I'm not a trophy hunter...I have a feeling a couple of suitable deer will still be around for me on Sunday or Monday morning when all the weekend hunters go back to work.
And for the cave men who were beating their chests and saying to grow a set... it takes more manhood than you'll ever have to put your family ahead of yourself. Taking a bullet for your wife is easy..because it's over...sacrificing your life for them while your living shows real love. Eph 5:25
I'd be a vegitarian too if bacon grew on trees.

Bringin the bible in your argument does not help you here buddy, cause in fact if you love hunting your wife should understand that and allow you to go with a smile on her face, flea market over opening weekend, REALLY that is what you call quality time with your wife, wow

I have never hunted opening rifle weekend and always end up with deer when the year is over.
