How much rain did you get and what part of the county are you in? I am close to the Throckmorton line

Near Loving, about 2.25" total over the last couple days, slow drizzle / sprinkles / light rain.
I hope it jump starts the triticale & wheat we got in on Friday.

I don't have a rain gauge, but it was a lot. We are about 9 miles west of Olney. That old red clay can sure get slick in a hurry.

Daughter and I barely rode out it out, Lol. We are off 79 between Throckmorton and Olney in Throckmorton Co.. Heavy sideways rain, thunder, lighting, hail and very intense winds. Got a little hairy in the travel trailer for about an hour. I would bet we got close to 2" in the 3 hrs that it rained.

All ready

I'll go out Friday to see if every thing made it through it okay.

It's exactly what we needed, not the Tornaders,of course. Our Oat patches are looking good. I jumped two bucks this morning, after the rains. They were both shooters. The one on the High fence side would have been a wall mount. The one on our side was a cull. Go figure.

Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it.

My place is about 25 minutes west of Olney in Baylor county. I barely got spit on.

Yeah, tell me about that slick red clay. I only have two wheel drive and wouldn't bother going out for 4 or 5 days after a 1 inch rain.

Bottom fell out in Megargel Saturday night. Sideways rain and heavy winds, luckly no hail that I saw. I bet we got close to 3-4 inches int he 3-4 hours it rained. Much NEEDED!
