First kill with bow. The bachelor group showed up at 7-7:05 and something wasn't right, they got spooked by something and hit the road. I had a clear shot on what I thought was the big brow buck, but not enough confidence it was the right deer due to low light and cloud cover. About 7:45 this morning, the bachelor group came back. This time I was sure and as soon as he cleared the others, I sent one loose. My PSE Brute and Rage 2 blade through net windows from my ground blind did the job. Didnt realize how loud an arrow is when it whacks a deer !!! Fortunately I didnt have to track him because of the rain. Watched him lay down and after approx. 10 minutes, finally expire. 30 yard shot. The last two seasons my shooter deer has ended up disappearing during bow season. I wasnt going to give the neighbors this one!! Not my biggest, but the brows and drop tine had me hooked. Talk about getting shook up, bow hunting is a rush!!! Gonna be hard to hunt with a rifle again! Now I owe my co-worker. We had a job call in late yesterday for this am, and he kindly took it. Sorry for the long delay. Just a lot of running around to do. I need good taxidermist in the Ft Worth area!! Let me know who you recommend!   Happy big helpers
