Anyone hunt in this area? What kind of year are you guys expecting? Was a tough year from the drought last year and we had alot of bucks with funky looking antlers.

We've hunted there for 20 years. Last year the drought did affect the deer, no question. All of our game cameras this year are LOADED with fat healthy deer, with very nice antler production.
Ballinger has always been good to us.
I have to wear sunglasses into the woods, because the deer would recognize me, an just surrender with their hooves up.

ive hunted ter last five years last year was a bad year for number still seen lots of deer but not like in years past
