I am getting some Hornady 30 cal .308 150 gr sp (3031) bullets free from Hornady and need some load data for them please.

Just a mild load is fine. Not looking for max loads. All are going to be loaded for 300 blackout.

Powder?
Primer?
Load data?
etc....

Thank you for any info

Accurate powder has some good data on their website. You can also find some good load data on other forums in their reloading sections. The 150 grain bullets will work, but they will lack expansion since they are running slow.

I always have some 165 gr OTMBTs for my carry around 300 with iron sights.
I have it sighted in for 100 with irons and they make the metal gongs sing.
Really want to shot a pig with one but like Chad said, I don't expect them to expand much but should hit like a brick!

You may have to load them to a short OAL to keep the soft tips from getting dented on the feed ramps.
Load up a few and put them in a mag on top of some standard 300 ammo to preload the mag spring and drop the bolt on them.
Then pull them out and look at the soft tips - if they are dented, seat them to a little shorter OAL until they clear.
A nice ding on the soft tip will open up your groups considerably.....I had to load the 110gr Hornady SPs down to 1.90 OAL to get them to clear the feed ramps and the groups magically dropped in size.

Cheers,
