Opinions please? Pros and Cons?

Dont buy one!!! Buy one and another one for a backup! Also, plenty of recharges.

I should have said while hunting deer to repel bugs for the jokesters LOL. My concerns are the sounds of the device and scent of the dispersal.

These things are the best thing since toilet paper. They are quiet period, nothing is going to hear it unless you are just going to town on trying to get it lit. Best $23 you'll ever spend.

One of the greatest inventions for the outdoors. I love mine. Never had a problem with it spooking any game either.

These things are the best thing since toilet paper. Better than toilet paper. I can find something else to use for toilet paper, butt you will not find anything else to take the place of a Thermacell.

Better than the sprays, and it does not stink. I never hear the thing and have dove hunted with it all season. (I don't hear we'll anyway, so it might make a noise and I would never know.)

It does stink and smokes and if i can smell it the deer can too. Now on the other hand if u got alot of skeeters and they are eatin you alive theres nothin better to keep em away. I use head net and gloves when im huntin and use the thermasmell at the cookouts.
(Sig Pic to be no more than 125 pixels tall)

Deer prolly can smell but so what if they smell it they've already smelled you your blind and your breakfast on your breath. I don't believe the smell is threatening to them. They smell a lot of things but that doesn't mean they bug out. I've had hogs close and it didn't seem to bother them but again they would have smelled me anyway. I guess a good test would be set it out on the ground up wind from the feeder and watch from a distance and see what happens.

They made 2 versions. One was for mosquitos(green) and another that was a buck lure. The academy here puut the bucklure one on clearance once for $9.88 I bought all 11 they had left. Then I bought th the mosquito pack reloads. I don't think we've even used the lure and scent pads yet. Everybody loved me last xmas when they got there stockings.
Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

A few years ago I hunted on east Texas timber Co. land that stayed flooded a lot of the time. The skeeters there were so big I think they were classified as migratory waterfowl in that county. They drank Deep Woods Off like Koolaid. Get in the stand fire up the Thermacell and in about 7-10 minutes, no more skeeters. I carry it in my backpack until the weather gets good and cold.

I like mine, havent used it enough when deer are really moving tho. I also don't know if the earth scent is better than original. I have the earth scent loaded in my pack now tho.
