I went to the SW on like 1604/1609 (something like that in north SA). I think that store has been closed, but they had a great selection 2 years ago. I bought my Ruger SP101 from the one in Lewisville before it closed last December. They had one of the better selections of revolvers in the area.
Shoot straight and always carry a 7mm Remington Magnum.

Sportsman's Warehouse - (1) (210) 494-5505 - 1911 N Tx-1604-Loop E, San Antonio, TX this one is still open, there is a Academy across the street so you can compare prices.

Hey 7Mag, Once you figure out what you want, you may try talking to some of the gun shops that you know of and see what kind of deal they can make you on the same gun. Most gun shops I know of will give LEO discounts so it might be worth a shot!

Gun shops here dont give us much if any breaks. If I want a carry weapon ect I usually go through GT Distibutors. I am looking at getting a 40, just to plinker with.

Give Dury's a try! I've bought almost all my pistols from them, and they cater to Law enforcement, and have the SAPD contract, and had the turn in's at a good price a while back! Lifetime warranty on all new and used guns, and LEO discount! http://www.durysguns.com/

Thursday at 12:45 PM #33 Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.
