Just got back from taking the goats to the YO. The divide country sure looks better than the last time I was there. They said this is going to be the biggest sale in the last few years.

Hey Don, did you see any other ibex there? No, but I did not look and forgot to ask. Probably the marority of game will come in tomorrow. You could probably call them and ask what is coming. You had to submit a few weeks ago what you wanted to sell so they should know what is going to be there.

Wish I could be there but that is always the weekend of Come & Take It and I have to help my son's boy scout troop. It would be nice to see what kind of fallow are there this year.

I wish this was on a different weekend Walter, we just bought a ranch and don close until the 28th. So, we don't have anywhere to hold anything we buy yet. Maybe we can catch the other sale later in the year. Good luck!

I went to the YO auction yesterday. I see I am going to have to go up on my prices. A lot of buyers. The YO knows how to put on a sale. Great lunch, refreshments, good ring, don't spend a lot of time BSing. All in all a good day.

YO is usually higher on some prices I think. They do put on a good sale. We usually go to the one in the spring and we have a great time there. Sure wish I could have attended the event this weekend but just too many things going on here to get away. I need to find someone to trust that can get some stuff there for me when I can't attend.

What did the ibex go for, billy's and nannies?
The only females at the sale were 3 that sold along with 2 YO Ibex males. The 5 sold for $850 each.2 persian type sold for $1900 each. 2 what they said were nubian but I would have to dissagree sold for $1200 each. A real good yearling nubian sold for $2500. I thought he would have brought $4000. My 3.5 year old male brought $3400 and my yearling $1100.
