I'm gonna try out a new to me mechanical this season. Does anyone have any experience with the NAP Spitfire MAXX 3 blade mechanicals?

I have used spitfire 100 grain for the past three seasons and love them! I shoot a 55 pound pull and get full pass thru even thru the shoulder blade. These are great broadheads!

I used these ONCE back when they first came out and were supposed to be the end all of broadheads. 70lb pull at 14 yards, 2 of the blades sheared off and I got.approximately 2 inches of penetration. Found the buck 2 weeks later. Have shot nothing but Muzzy's since. Haven't lost a deer or hog since.

I just bought the killzones but have yet to kill an animal with them. Hopefully that will change in the near future...

I've used 100 grain NAP Shockwaves since like 2004, I've never not had a pass thrus on the dozen or so deer I've shot. Never had bounce offs on quartering shots either. I've shot the same head thru 3 deer, just sharpen the blades/tip each time. Really a great secret for the 19.99 price tag (Academy). Heck, its cheaper for me to buy three more heads, than buy blades and retaining rings!

I used Shockwaves last year and bought more this year for $16.99/3. It's a steal and they work well.

Shot Spitfires through the years, no bad experiences. They tear a hole in turkeys that's for sure. If it weren't for the rubber bands I would use Rocky Steelheads, they are tough but I hate dealing with the bands. Good luck!

Isn't the best way to save face to keep the lower part shut?
