Just found out I will be in the field helping out with some training the first week of bow season. I wouldn't worry too much; it's going to be a full moon week end anyway. I'm sure not anxious about it. I'll still get my 5 deer in Texas and two in Oklahoma.

That sucks. I know the feeling. I always have a work related trip every year that ruins the first two weeks of gun season. Hoping to get my buck during bow season this year.

I will be in the field training the next 3 weeks and then again from the middle of OCT to the end of OCT. But I should be in the clear for gun season for the most part. I hope.

My mom usually picks up my kids from school so I can leave for the lease when I get home from work. I just found out that she is going to visit my sister and wont be back in Texas until Oct. 15. I know how you feel.

That sucks, could be worse. I'm stuck in the desert thanks to Uncle Sam. I should be home in a few weeks but big game hunting will be over. Guess it'll be ice fishing and small game for me this winter.
