I'm not going to lie, the action was over a lot sooner than I wanted it to be. First two groups were15+/- birds and my hunt was over. Sat in the layout for another 30mn just watching them decoy. Ol yellow dog was goin crazy!
Duck season is here.

Same here, quick public limits for us as well and not many people out. there was a ton of people on the water here. Luckily nobody was anywhere near us.

im sorry you didnt get to limit out today i was just alittle excited bc its the first time i have killed blue wing, we hunted all last teal season and only got one duck (GWT) so if you would like to dis on me please dont sorry i got alittle proud of my self that i could hit anything im a 17 year old girl and im proud ok? is there a problem with that sir?

i dont hunt with my dad he was bass fishing a tournement i hunt with my boyfriend and my friends and he thought he didnt mind but im going to delete it!

Glad you did well on your hunt, did not know you were 17, that is pretty impressive that you shot your limit, hope you enjoy hunting ducks for many years.
I am just trying to help, you will learn not to give too much information in the future, I do not hunt were you do but a lot of people do and will not be happy if you name the area.
I did shoot my limit as well.

I shot my 1st blue wing today. Got 2 all together!!! But it was fun!! Yep I will be back!!
Need to find a good recipe now!!!

Got a 5 man limit in about 30-45 minutes. Beautiful morning yesterday. Got stopped by the game warden and she was incredibly nice. Told us she appreciated us being legal and sent us on our way.

Every duck hunter knows that there are ducks on lakes. And every duck hunter knows that some people will do well on a lake one day and some hunters will not shoot anything on the same lake on the same day. Glad you are in the sport of hunting as we need all the newcomers that love it as much as we do. Congrats.
