It depends on what we are talking about hunting. Goose=Cold & Snow,Duck=Rain-Fog & Slight Wind, Upland=50-63,Turkey=60-72.
Dog doesn't care right now since his retirement benefits kicked in.... I think at this point he wishes we left the house so he do what he wants.

Upper 20's to low 50's. Slight wind and a little moisture on the ground and in the air.

When up in Minnesota I loved it to be mid twenties to 35 degrees out. Put a vest on my GSP and we could hunt all day in that. Now being down in Texas I would like it to be somewhat close to that temp as I have not gotten used to the heat!

I like a morning starting out at about 25-30, then mid day get to no more than about 45-50, partly sunny (but not too sunny) with some moisture on the ground. sorry, I just dazed off for a second, I'm back to reality now. Come one bird season. I'm fixin to go mess with the dogs now, weather is to nice to be inside.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

Starting next weekend. Hunted in low 90's last year. Limited each brace to 15 minutes.
Like 35-55 best though.

Ideally 45 and overcast with a good freeze the night before. Will hunt up to a high of around 60.

In Missouri on wild birds...the ideal hunt was 26 - 28 degrees...2" snow on the ground...light wind...light cloud cover...ground was hard, bird tracks were in the snow...dogs were in "the zone"...shooting was ...well i won't tell that lie.
In Texas...at Top Flight Preserve a season or so ago... we had one freeze...ground was hard when we arrived at maybe 28 degrees...slight wind with moisture on the ground...birds were sticking and then flying like crazy...dogs were awesome and the shooting was better than average...then by 11am the truck was stuck in 2 feet of mud and we had to pay a farmer to pull us out.

I like it hot when dove hunting and cold for anything else.
