Elite GTO will blow both of those out of the water. Plus you get a THF discount from me on a GTO.

It isn't THAT much faster but the fact that it is getting the same speeds as the bowtech with a longer brace height is THE difference. It is alot smoother and more forgiving of your errors because of the longer brace height.

While I am neither a big fan of Hoyt or BowTech, And yes I have owned both, I would pick the Hoyt over the BowTech. I shot an 82nd and es it was smoin fast, but the short brace height was not for me. I have also heard a few folks say that they were difficult to tune. A buddy of mine bought one a couple months ago and tried 7 or 8 different drop aways on it, and the only thing he could get to shoot a perfect bullet hole with was a limbdriver. I haven't shot the Katera yet, and while I have heard good things about them I have neither shot one not know anyone that does shoot one.
Either way you go, shoot them and as many other bows as you can as much as you can to amke a decision. don't just shoot one or two arrows out of the both of them and let that make your choice. I have boutht quite a few bows in the past 8 or 9 months. and every time I keep going back and picking up my mathews. SO I ended up selling all of them and I now have a closet full of Mathews. Why..........because they fit me and I shoot them well.

I've got a Reflex that I love to shoot. Bowtech and Hoyt are big neames, but don't just limit yourself to the big names. Shoot a wide range of bows, keep an open mind, and select the one that's the best fit for YOU. Your buddy may have the "Max-fast 007 Elite Firestorm" that he can throw down a 4" group at 30 yards. BUT, if you can take "Bob's Kinda-Good Neverheardof" bow and group 'em in 1" with a little less speed, get Bob's. I've got nothing against the big names at all. They're great bows. Just allow yourself the opportunity, and time, to explore what else is out there. You may be surprised.
Just my $.02!!! Best of luck to you.
