I have only had a few brands. The only ones I am still using are my Primos Truth Cam 35. I bought it on Amazon for about 75 bucks delivered to my house. I have been running 3 of them for over a year without any issues. I do buy a lot at Academy for their return policy. They have the Truth Cam 46 on sale this week for 79.

I have been running Spypoint and Bushnell.

I wasn't happy with Bushnell, it stopped working after eight months.

Spypoint on the other hand has worked beatifully.

Great photos and pretty good battery life if you don't do video.

We offer them at SWFA. We carry
Barska Trail Cams
Bushnell Trail Cam
Leupold RCX Trail Cams
Minox Trail Cam
Simmons Trail Cams
SpyPoint Trail Cams
Stealth Cam Trail Cams
Tasco Trail Cams
Wildview Trail Cams

And we also offer discount to all THF members.

PM me for details.

Buy cheap. Non of them seem to last very long and all you really want is what and what time.

I've got 3 Moultries. One of them is the fairly low level model with standard bright flash, and that thing seems bulletproof. All of the Moultries I have work fine, though the LCD display on the two expensive ones have quit working. What I like about the cheaper one is that it's very simple and it's easy to change out the memory sticks (SD cards). I meant to get the model number off that camera and go buy another one this weekend, but I forgot to do it. Blacksnake is probably right about going for the cheap ones. They seem to take about as good a picture (I don't need 10 megapixels).

If you have an interest in something a little different, I design and install solar powered, weather resistant systems that give you live and recorded video from your feeder (or anywhere you would use a standard game camera) on you mobile device (iPhone/iPad/Android) or any computer with Internet access. We can also trick it out with options, like firing the feeder from your phone, pan/tilt/zoom capability, or thermal if you want to get real crazy.

If I have your attention, PM me for instructions to log into my live demo at a ranch in Seguin for test drive.

I've had two Stealth Cams since '08 and have run them about 6 months a year and still going. The trigger speed has diminished but they sit on a feeder so I'm not too worried about it. They do like batteries but I've hooked up a solar to it. As far as the most recent purchases, as stated above, my buddy has been running 3 Primos 35's for a couple of months and the battery life is awesome as well as the pics. For the price, those are gonna be hard to beat. I'm running two new SpyPoints and they've been fantastic as well but cost 2-3 times as much as the Primos.
