I'm headed to Howe Sunday morning- I'll post a report that night.
Any suggestions on good fields on this side? I'd be happy to head to a field with other hunters to get some birds moving.

Hunted the lake in Leonard tonight had lots of groups of twos, threes, fives, eights, flying North to South on the road above the lake.

Hunted the big tank on the Leonard side Saturday evening. Birds were very slow. Got three and felt lucky to get them. Several of the hunters around the tank didn't even fire. At least I didn't fry in the field. The weather was great...actually felt "fallish".

The birds we found in Howe this week seemed to have disappeared today. They were still there yesterday morning.

Seemed like there were some new birds around, bigger groups flying higher than they have been and looked like bigger birds. Very scattered though

We were not on DJ piece saturday but very close to them and saw little to no birds untill 20 min before dark and we had a furry of them heading to roost but that was it. Seems as the cooler weather may have moved some birds now. Now hopefully it will push some new ones down. Did see 4 nice groups of teal screamin' across the skyline!
