I had a hanging feeder held by rope break on me twice in the same day, the second time it ended up like yours. Crunch.

New timer/motor and new rope and I hope I am in business....

Have not seen wire break like that. Was there an obvious kink in it or anything? Or just old?

Dad and I were about an hour and a half into setting up a winch tripod feeder that looked like Dr. Frankenstein set it up, when I looked over to him and said, "I thought we were putting these winch up feeders to make things easier."
