Oh ya there is a billion out there right now. I don't think anybody knows either so keep it a secret and you'll have that whole lake to yourself on opening morning! Good luck!

I think the consensus in duck hunting is:

Do your own scouting and keep it to yourself.

These guys would rather give you a kindey than the location hunting spots. Put it the miles, or become best friends with someone that can. This place is great for info on dogs, shotguns, blinds, boats, taxidermy, recipies, decoys, ammo, and anything but scouting info.

P.S. No one likes a lazy duck hunter...

Teabag - thanks for the brilliant response. How long did it take to count a billion teal?

Sooner - I wasn't asking anyone for their secret spots. I have hunted gv for several years on my own and been quite sucessful. I have done my own scouting and have my own spots. Just asked a simple question and expected a simple answer. If i wanted a lesson on thf posting rules, i would have asked for one.

If you know the lake and have "your own spots" roflmao then it shouldn't be a problem for you to get up and go look in "your spots" roflmao yourself. I swear these younguns get lazier and lazier as the years go by rolleyes

So sorry I tried to help. I saw that you hadn't been here for very long and wanted to give you a heads up as to why you were going to be blasted by everyone on here. Next time I'll let them tear you limb from limb. whip

And if you got your feelings hurt after just that little bit...

Lake tyler is flat covered up with them, come on down theres plenty of room. If it was me I would set up on the island in front of the marina or in the channel for some pass shooting

Also a couple of goat-looking things. One of them had some kind of bones or something sticking out of his head.
