Relax. I'm poking fun at it. At least people are half heartedly "hunting"....I guess.. You do have to admit though that someone coming onto an online forum and ordering a deer like they would a pizza, then complaining that it has too many pepperoni slices, is a bit much. Take a look at my site when you have some time. You will see that I actually specialize in free range hunts, in fact I have done less high fence hunts than I do fingers on one hand. It just so happens I have a client who is up there in age who has always dreamed of a big 8 point even a big 9 point would suffice and he doesnt have much more time. Thanks to todays managing techniques and modern technology such as game cams, protein, etc. we can be picky in what we hunt and manage for specific genetics. Thats the beauty of high fence hunting, Im not looking for a canned hunt, not even looking for a guarantee- just an opportunity and knowing that that specific buck is on the ranch is enough. And for the record I never said it had to be a high fence hunt, there are plenty of great low fence/free range ranches that do the same thing so are they wrong too? I mean heck so hunting out of a blind, using feeders, or game cams must not be fair hunting either right. Poking fun... Right

Txshntr....100+ posts between 9:24 this morning and 3 pm....Seriously? I hope you work nights because the pattern repeats itself. Don't mow too many lawns. I do quite a bit though with risk management. If you work daytime hours you have opened yourself up to significant risk. Companies do log your Internet activity. Even if on a smart phone people can still see this level of activity. Friendly advice..turn the browser off...
I will agree with you on one thing though. I've read MM's posts and he seems like a good guy. Topic is just a bit much.

Mike I have a huge clean 8 pointer I will be at the ranch this weekend I will try to get you some pictures of him. PM me a email address. He is coming into a blind made on the side of a tank damn so it would be very easy to get someone into that does not get around very well. The ranch is set up for handicap. I'm not a outfitter but I do sell a few hunts to help cover feed.

I'll sure keep an eye out at the ranch for a deer like that in case you don't find one. We killed a couple deer just like what your describing in the past. Good luck on the search!

Mike I found a GIANT framed typical 9 with a very small bump on the end of the beam that I dont think would make a true point and one side of his brow is split Ill try to post a pick.

Ive made all my call around and have yet to hear back from 2 of my guys but this one is the closet thing Ive found so far but I doubt he would like it because of the tiny point making him a 10 if you will, and the split brow. Let me see if the other guys call me back throught the weekend and Ill keep you posted bud.

Mike check out Las Raices ranch. I saw the other day on Facebook where they had a few recent game cam pics of probably a 150 class or so slick 8. They have a first class operation as well. We have some nice 8's but nothing in the 160 range this year but will talk to some of our partners and see if they have any in the pens they want to let go.
