Actually Dan, I have both a benelli and a stoeger. Stoegers are imported by Benelli and made in Turkey. Benelli is made in Italy. They are not made by the same people. Do your research before you call BS. I hope you can cope with this. Using your train of thought- an Aston Martin is just a ford taurus.
So sorry again duckkilla & marcstar, Stoegers are made in Brazil and imported & owned by Benelli as that's a Fact
And I can call anytime I know I'm right

Some Stoegers are made in Brazil and some are made in Turkey. Once again you are wrong. Stoeger and Benelli are both owned by Beretta. You really need to learn how to conduct research on the internet to keep from repeatedly sounding like a moron.

Wow. Guess I wont be getting on one of your dove leases next year. However I found this too and it seems that we are both right.
"In the 1990s, the Stoeger company was purchased by Finnish rifle manufacturer Sako. In 2000, Sako was acquired by Beretta Holding S.p.A. At that time, Stoeger Industries was placed under the ownership of Benelli USA, where it remains today as a member of the Benelli USA family of companies."

I was not trying to get personal and did not mean to offend you.

Stoeger is both an importer and a manufacturer and I think that may be source of confusion. Stoeger Industries' headquarters are in Accokeek, Maryland. Stoeger is a wholly owned subsidiary of Benelli, which in turn is owned by Italian firearms manufacturer Beretta.
I think the Stoeger Condor line is manufactured in Brazil by E.R. Amantino.
I think the Stoeger 2000 semi's are manufactured in Turkey by Stoeger Silah Sanayi A.S. (former Vursan arms company).

I used to shoot my grandpa's old Mossy 12 or my single shot NEF 20. Retired the 12 after Christmas of '06-'07 season. It was replaced by a Nova. This season will be shared between the Nova and the Baikal. I still take out the 20 on occassion.

Sorry again? Dan the bottom line is a Benelli and Stoeger are not made to the same standards and quality. Don't you agree? If they were I'd be shooting a Stoeger and so would everyone else for the prices.
Dear Lord please bullwhip me for saying this but I agree, Marcstar is in the lead. Please nobody use this as a quote!!!

i think that argument is over, everyone already learned the company history of Stoeger, Benelli, Beretta and that Franchi's are made in France
Attention rickym, this is not a troll post, just a good hearted fun type of post

Left handed Benelli SBE here. I heard the left handeds are built south of the equator since the machines run the opposite direction.
