If that hurricane keeps sliding west the East Texas dove hunters will be covered up. Even on its present track they may benefit.

If that hurricane keeps sliding west the East Texas dove hunters will be covered up. Even on its present track they may benefit. That is just great, now all those dove gangs will be in Texas stealing food and shaking down the whitewings.

hmmm. Didn't think about it like that. I may have to make a run to Academy and pick up some more shells. One flat may not be enough this year.

The power of positive thinking can surely lead to high expectations! And with that extra flat you are sure to get your limit of doves! This positive thinking has me thinking, I'm going to Academy for extra flat too. Hey this positive thinking WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been seeing more dove than in years past for this time of year but no obvious increase in the last few days

Don't know if the storm would have any effect on pushing the doves towards Texas or not.

Oh no. Louisiana dove??? Aren't they kinda weird? They talk real weird and typically have less teeth than the normal dove.
