TPWD staff will be conducting a short presentation regarding hunting on all areas that TPWD manages for public hunting at Lake Somerville on September 6 at 6:30 p.m. in the pavilion at Nails Creek State Park. We will be discussing the do's and don't's of the area followed by a question and answer period.

Did the draw hunt down there one year and it was muzzle loader only. Other than the rain all weekend it was a fun hunt. Saw quite a few deer and pigs every where.

used to fish that lake evey weekend and always saw deer from the boat. good luck

There is also draw hunts for the area as well right? iv hunted most the aph. Did anything open up or shut down as far as waterfowl this year? or can you tell me yet
