Vortex 100g - The best I have ever used bar none. Glad to see others talk highly about the Vortex. Been using them for several years now and haven't had any issues.

I have used Rage and just recently bought two 3-packs of Shockwaves for $34 from eBay. Both have been great.

Bloodrumners. If they open you get a huge hole if it doesn't open it is like a fixed blade head and get almost a 2" cut.

I have harvested 15+ animals with rage 2 blade, whitetail, coyote, hog, and javelina. I recovered all of them and they all died very quickly the longest one traveled was 45 yards. I'm not switching. Whatever has worked for you, keep using it. I lost a 160 inch deer by deciding I was going to switch from slick tricks to g5 montecs, this was before I switched to rage. If its not broke don't fix it, never go into battle with an unproven weapon

spitfires and rages the best time after time. Grim reapers are bad.

That’s really an oxymoron; Mechanical and reliable. If it moves it’s subject to failure. But if I only had one option, I would use Grim Reapers. This is true, Don't know about Grims, I use Rage and am very happy with them.

I've been under the impression that many people with grim reapers judge them as being bad because after a pass thru the blades automatically go back to the closed position and people think they didnt expand and got a crappy cut

Bloodrunners they're not fully mechanical but not fixed either they are like a regular broadhead but when they hit the blades get pushed back and get bigger.

Grim reapers are great. I have killed numerous deer with the 100grain razor tips. I cleanly, and quickly took three deer with the same one. Just cleaned it up and made sure the blades were opening right. They were still razor sharp. Most any on the market are good but i trust the reapers.

My friend introduce me to the Swhacker's and I have not regretted them yet. Fly awesome, simple design, and durable.

I've noticed how people change broadheads as often as they change their socks. The broadhead is the most important part of your archery equipment and if it works why change? I've used a certain broadhead for over 20 years and only until they soldout to Rage did I have to change....Oh, and I now shoot Rage broadheads.
Thursday at 12:45 PM #33 Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.
