Subject says it all really...what are you guys using to hold/transport your texas rag wind sock goose decoys? I've put some in a regular decoy bag but I can see how the dowel rods may end up poking holes in the bag. Any links you can provide would be welcomed...thanks.
Dear Lord please bullwhip me for saying this but I agree, Marcstar is in the lead. Please nobody use this as a quote!!!

Roll up ten rags at a time. That's one bundle.
Stack all of the bundles and use 2 bungie cords (spell check) and hook both ends. You should be able to slide your fingers under the cord an now you can carry them all.

It can be an expensive undertaking, but ditch those rags and get you some sillosocks.
The time and energy you save in set up and take down is well worth it. Plus they decoy birds.
Don't get me wrong, TX rags can still bring in geese. But I sure don't miss the 2+ hours of set up and then 2+ hours of take down.

The problem is they cost about $60/dozen and you can get 100 rags for that. As far as set up and take down I have no clue what you are talking about...rags and silo socks take pretty much take the same amount of time to set up and take down...i've hunted over both.

When I ran 1200 to 1500 rags, it took 8 guys a couple of hours plus to set up and take down. I can set out and pick up 1000 -1200 sillosocks with 4 or 5 guys in 30 to 45 minutes. I've done this long enough to comfortably say that I much enjoy getting that extra hour or so of sleep each morning I get running SS.

I believe you (I personally have not seen a big difference...but I'll yield to your experience) and the other merits of sillo socks over rags is undisputed. It's just a cost issue...I can afford to spend a few hundred on big spread of rags but can't afford to spend a few thousand on silosocks. I think what I'll do is start buying a few dozen sillosocks a year and just building it slowly.
But overall the issue of sillosocks vs rags was not the issue for me at this point. But others have given me the direction I need.

Rags are a pain to transport, that's for sure.
Best I ever came up with were the slings they made for them. Or taking am extra large decoy bag and folding it around the rags. You could fit several dozen bundles, bungie them around the bag and still have a good chunk of strap left to throw over your shoulder.

If your riding into the field you can put them in a rubbermaid tote. Same with the sillo socks.
