Used to, hunted there for 5 yrs. We had NW corner . Was told NE pasture was best on ranch, lots of deer and some good ones to. Bump for a good lease

IS there still all the heavy oil field traffic? Have to worry about your feeders/stand from poaching?

I'm definitely interested, but I've heard "stories" about the Mertz.

I have been on this lease for 15 years and we have never lost any of our equipment and have never encountered anyone poaching except for some of our own FORMER lease members. Our pasture is in the corner of the Ranch so we do not get much traffic.

we hunted this place ,if this the same place im thinking it is, the 900 hundred acres on south east side. 1500 plus 30 or so for elect good animals a lot of turkey, no spring turkey hunting a few exoitics mertz was a good guy to deal with , we had mexican food in town one day george bush came in sat down and ate just like no big deal ;

We do have spring turkey hunting on our place and yes Mr Mertz is a great guy to deal with.

No we our camp is @ 45 min. from his house.

We have received approx. 7 inches of rain in the last month at this lease so the antler quality should be realy good this year.
