So were getting on a lease that about 5-6 miles west of the Pandale Rd. and 405 fork. We used to hunt for the longest time on the Devils River till the ranch sold in 2000. Some may remember the old Mayfields store outside of Juno Texas. Anywho glad to be back in that terrain but just wondering what the WT bucks will be like and what exotics/pig poplations are around. Also what are the chances that I will see some Mulies out there?
Thanks for any input!

I lived in Iraan for a while, saw lots of mulies and some real dandy WT. that was in 05/06 so can't be sure on the exotics and pigs now, but I hardly ever saw hogs out there back then.

We are in Comstock and from the game camera pics, have seen some very nice bucks, average mid to high 130's but have one that will score higher like mid 150's. I am way south of you if you are near Pandale.

Our lease is off 406 and Hwy 290. No hogs but Javelina. Spotted a Mt Lion last season. The Rancher has another lease off of Pandale Rd and just last year reported 1st siting of hogs. A few Mulies have been seen on ours but usually in the bottom of our big canyon. 13 miles around by road on a 400 yard shot so it better be a good un.

Biggest taken was a 168 on ours. That was before our year round free range protein program. 130 - 150 is the norm.

Do not miss the game dinner the first weekend in December. Always a blast.

Hunted west of Juno Road where it turned into 1973. Rancho Grande a 30k acre ranch. Some years were good some not so good. Had anthrax break out every 2nd or 3rd year due to drought. Had trouble with illegals last 4 years. But we had ok deer hunting, exotics, pigs showed up in last 3 years, javelina. I moved in March year before and the place burned in June. I like hunting there it was just to far of a drive.

I don't see the ghost child
