If you do the math and it makes my head hurt, but just one sow can have six to eight piglets every six months and those piglets do the same, and their piglets do the same etc., that 1500 a year doesn't sound so impressive.
Thursday at 12:45 PM #33 Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

a friend of mine was working on airforce bases in california shooting feral cats for a few years after college.

A biologist at one of the WMA's I hunt said that a sow can give birth to 10 piglets and 12 of them will survive.
