I had a similar experience with my first good buck when I was 14. Took the buck to processor and they had a sign for $100.00 and said the guy was just getting started.
The mount turned out ok but it looks like it is on a doe manikan(sp). I still have it but will eventually get another cape for it and have it redone.

I'm not gonna blast someones name on here. I feel thats a lil too low. I know he did a crap job but he is still trying to earn an income. He provided a service. I paid the price waiting for so long and hearing the rumors I still went ahead. I heard excuse after excuse on why it too so long. I finally broke down and told him I either need the mount or my deer. 4 months later on todays date this is what I got. I'll get some better picture tomorrow before I send this eye sore to a professional and pay the right price and have it done the correct way.
