I used to hunt just north of Jayton in the late 90's. I saw one decent Mule Deer in 3 yrs of hunting there. Was supposed to be 2 really big Mule Deer bucks seen when we took the lease but I am guessing they were poached by the ranch manager's buddies for spending cash.

You bet, mule deer in both counties, although spotty. More in Kent than Dickens.

LOTS of Mulies in Dickens on the SW portion of the Pitchfork, along Croton creek,a tributary of the salt fork. I see mulies everytime I hunt there, mostly in the rougher country. We used to hunt Kent,20 or so miles west of Jayton along the salt fork, never saw a mulie. Double mountain fork in Kent has lots. Near Polar community
Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it. Don't text and drive.

I've hunted Kent and Stonewall for about 8 years now. I haven't seen a mulie yet. I sure would like to though.

I have owned a property on the Dickens Kent co line just off 208 for about 3 yrs now. Have never seen a mule deer there. However, most of that area is in CRP or cultivated. I see lots of whitetails and hogs there though.
