I am looking to go hog hunting for meat. I live north of D/FW. and am open to what ever for hog hunting. I am not looking for all the bells and whistles I am just looking for a place to shoot a hog. What does it cost to shoot a hog, since I am kind of on a budget.

Ballpark you should pay $300 or less depending on lodging etc. There are several people on here that offer hunts look around in the outfitters and guides section. Good luck

Check out 4-D Outfitters They are in the Mexia Grosebeck area. I just got back from there on Friday. Tons of hogs and they will put you right up close with them. I think a meat hog runs about $250. if you want meat, just go to Jermyn and pick yourself out one from the guy there. they sell wild pigs cheap - you have to take them away dead and gut them yourself...
