I pulled a card on one of my cameras today and saw a pic of a yote from this morning. No big deal right, until I watched the video that was shot after this pic. In my opinion this appears to be a young coyote carrying the back half of a fawn. I can't think of anything else that would have such long and slender legs. Strangely I have a pic of a fawn on this camera from the day before. What do you guys think? Make sure you watch the video. [video:youtube]BQ97E3uWw20[/video]

I don't think its a deer that yote wassnt struggling at all and the thing in its mouth was stiff as a board. I think if it was a deer he would have ahad a little more trouble than that. Jmo though. Cool video

I don't know what it is, but I think he is carrying it too easy to be a fawn.

I have never seen a dead fawn struggle. I have seen coyotes chew young animals in half and leave part of it. I have seen coyotes chew off the head and leave it. I can't tell for sure what the coyote is carrying but just because it isn't flopping around doesn't mean it isn't a fawn.

I think it's actually a piece of a fawn. Like the hind quarters.

Close-up for people. Looks to me to be the hind quarters of a fawn (which might exlpain why there isn't a struggle, hahah!)

No jack rabbits here legs look pretty big and thick..Any new calves on the property..? Legs look too skinny in the still pic to be a calf IMO.

I don't have a lot of coyotes and I have already found 2 that coyotes got. How do I know? I skinned out the neck and found where they grabbed them.

Maybe it has 1/2 of a Mountain Lion?
I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.
