I was thinking of planting my first spring food plot in peas. at the feed store blackeye peas are $2.70 a pound and at wal-mart their .59 cent a pound. whats the difference? they both look the same to me.

nothing doing testing right now myself on the same subject.I put 10 peas on a wet paper towel 6 days ago and guess what there growing right now in my window seal.I found them at feed store for 1.59 a pound but im like you wal-mart here i come.

How many pounds of BE peas per acre? or 1/4 acre in my case.

I was told 50 to 60 pounds per acre but i guess any thing over that would be fine too.

I planted 65lb to the acre of Cow peas, and I now a guy that does 75lb to the acre of Iron CLay. Have no idea on black eye but I would think its the same or close to
