Will cows eat everything I throw out when it starts to grow?

Yup, that's like cotton candy. Them horses will eat it too. Electric fence is your only hope.

Once it is mature how long does it say mature to where the ducks keep coming to it? Can you just spread it in the shallow water and it will grow? I don't have and drags or tills. Need help! And I guess I need to plant start planting it in the next couple weeks?

Just throw the seeds in the mud and watch them grow.

We planted milo for a dove food plot once. It was nice full color and topping well. BIL left the gate open and the dern cows and horses got in there and ate every top off of the milo. EVERY TOP! I am sure deer, pigs, horses and racoons will eat it. I am planting it in my beaver ponds only because I just mowed a big section of rose hedge out. It is bare where I mowed. If I can get any benefit out of the millet then great. If I get no benefit I won't be out a whole lot of work.

I had to call around to 4 stores, but Pale Face Feed is ordering me 100 lbs of jap millet and will have by next wednesday, in case anyone in the area wants to plant some, it's not too late. It's $25 for 50 lbs.

You obviously didn't talk to the young lady, you'll know her when you see her, 78 cent's a pound for the 3 tons I bought.
