Doesn't work when most of the whiskers are white, looks more like a deer flagging in the tree...

I don't have much height out here in W. Texas, so I always use a facemask or camo paint.

I use face paint. I think putting camo on the face makes a difference.

EITHER A NETTING MASK OR PAINT.
THERE'S ONLY ONE RIGHT WAY TO
DO IT .PUT UP YOUR STAND ,PUT
ON YOUR MASK AND SHOOT SOME
ARROWS AT DIFFERENT POSITIONS
AND SEE IF YOUR MASK INTERFERES
WITH THE STRING BUTTON.

I use to wear a mask, but with wearing glasses sometimes the heat causes my glasses to fog up. I switched to paint a few years ago and won't turn back.

I make a mess of the paint. May do more of that this year now that I'm on lease with running water in camp.

Mask when it gets cold. Nothing on my face during warm weather. No beard either. Just a white face hanging up in a tree.

sounds dumb but when I was a professional bow hunter I used an underarmour mask. They are made for cold but they really arent that much hotter than any plus they keep the sweat controlled

Mesh in warm weather and solid in cool weather.

Cheap Wal Mart Remington ones... they work just fine.

Yup, if there's sunlight shining on my face and/or skeeters. But love the funny looks from peeps when walking into an establishment after a hunt with face paint on. grin

Yes. An all black face mask in ground blind. However, I am considering switching to face paint but worried about sweat effect and paint running into eyes. Anybody have any experience with paint, heat and sweat ?

Have also considered going with one of the UnderArmour Helmet skull caps and then a little paint.

I always have one on, even if it is just around the neck so I'm able to use it quickly if needed. scentlok sells a couple great options that are light weight for Texas.
