you can have guns transfered to McBride's for a minimal fee.
It is in the west campus area. around 28th and lamar

You Dont Need a FFL For a long Gun if you Go Through USPS.AND if your not shipping over the State line.

Check with post office before you try it. I don't think they will take it, at least they wouldn't when I tried. UPS is the only people I could find....

In my experience you will find there's a variance between the actual corporate policy and what the person behind the counter interperates it as. I have had issues with FedEx, UPS, and USPS where the person behind the just says "no" because.
I have had the best luck with USPS. An individual (sans FFL) may ship a long arm, but not a handgun through USPS.
Whether or not you may ship a firearm to another individual within the state can be debated. USPS will not ship loaded ammo.
If you for some reason ship a firearm to a 14yr old kid, you can bet that you'll be the one fingered, not the USPS.
