As far as stabilizers, what's the big difference? I'm thinking about putting a new one on my bow and not sure which direction to go. Right now it has an old, long x-ring that's heavy. Looking for something different. Any preferences? Cost? Thanks.

BOWJAX X-IT stabilizer is what my wife and I shoot on our hunting rigs. I love them. One of the best stabilizers I have ever used. Lots of folks like the Sims S Coil........I have one for sale cheap if you are interested........

I have a custom Posten Stabilizer on my hunting rig. I like a little heavier stab with the weight out front so I got one with a weight set and 10 inches.
I am about to order a 8" Stealth for my back up bow. I would get another Posten, but I am impatient and don't like the wait since he custom makes each one.

I have a couple of older X-ring stabilizers, about 8 inches, they're fairly heavy. My buddy gave me a Tranquilizer (sic) that's about 6 inches in length, but it's light as a feather. I don't understand the difference in weight and how it's effective in balancing the bow. I'm probably making more out of this than I should, but what's the deal?
