So what is the trick to making the deers head stand up almost in an alert position? I see these pics with the deers head up but nothing actually propping it up. Do u photoshop the stick out of the pic or something?

Pose them the night before in a the walkin cooler. Rigor does the rest. Use taxidermist eyes to cover deer's eyes to give it that just killed looked also.

Be sure and stick their tongue back inside their mouth...I detest seeing a beautiful buck with his tongue dragging the ground.

Placing the deer where its slightly up hill from where your taking the photo helps a lot.

Ya'll could be spawning a whole new industry here. Deer makeup to help you pose the picture of the trophy-caliber deer of your lifetime. The kit comes complete with tounge sheers, antler polish, grooming tools, 4 sets of taxidermist eyes of varying colors for that I just got shot surprised look.

You guys crack me up. elmer

Need fake hair & spray adhesive to patch any bullet holes or unappealing battle scars.

I guess it boils down to some folks just pay a little more respect to the animal they just killed. They want quality pics to show to anyone and everyone the animal they just killed. It only takes a few seconds to clean the animal, pose the animal and then pose the hunter for that moment in time you will capture for them.

Don't leave out a needle and thread to sew the mouth shut also.
