We went out to my ranch a month or so ago and had a good hunt with 2 of the 4 feeders producing nice sounders. Total dead count was 4. I nicknamed the hunt "Hogapalooza".....well, it is time for Hogapalooza 2 because the sounder is back to 100% and then some. I got I huge sow and 2 smaller ones that look to be pregnant, probably more. Then, another 15 shouts that should go about 50 to 75lbs each.

Friend of mine in Dallas is witnessing the exponential explosion of pigs down on the river right now. They were all cleaned out last year, except for the few smartest ones. Those smart ones had babies, now their babies are having babies. Gonna be a damn mess there come fall/winter.

I got permission to hunt and trap near the river and it is absolutely covered up with pigs. Will fill the freezer nicely and go along well with the nine pigs I have killed this year already.
If you ain't hunting, you ain't living right.

Yep. Irving, Dallas, Lewisville, Arlington, all of them have pigs. There are even some near Love Field right now where Bachman Creek meets the river.

All we can do is keep shooting. They keep breeding.

I'd love to get in on some of that. Been knocking down some russians lately with wayneoutdoors.com but I prefer the ferrel meat way better. I have several nice river running boats too, like a canoe and a couple kayaks.

What part of the trinity is this? I see them at Green Oaks and Greenbelt in the field south of the Trinity all the time.
