I don't think they are, but that's just because they seem to locate us very easily while deer hunting the Davy Crockett National Forest where we were required to wear blaze orange. I don't think they can see quite as well as Humans, but I don't think their vision is as poor as some think. Let me know what you think!

If you're in the DCNF... they've been hunted MORE THAN ONCE... so it wouldn't matter what color you wear! They can see white & red lights quite well....and will run as soon as the light comes on if you're not careful.

During daylight, just try to stay downwind. Color usually doesn't matter. They can detect some movement, but most likely will smell you first!

smell is their first line of defense so use the wind to your advantage. wether there color blind are not,i do believe they see very well at least at short distances since they can move and cut to avoid objects in their way just like a deer when they are being pursued jmo.
