Looking for a starter bow...
This will be my first bow purchase and I am wanting to get into the sport. Any suggestions or used items that I could buy off of you guys would be great!

I am located in San Antonio

Hard to beat this for starter bow if your draw is 29" or less.

While the Razor's edge is a good bow, I would advise against it unless your a youth or lady. Everything on it is more compact for smaller people. I would also not suggest getting your first bow at a retail store, but go to a archery proshop. That way you know that the bow will be setup correctly for you as each person is different. Most also will show you how to shoot aswell so you do not mess up anything. Getting a bow thats not setup right is a good way to get a massive headache.

I'd recommend the Diamond line as well, although maybe not the Edge (although I bought one for my wife). I shoot the Rock and it works very well for me.

I would recommend going to a bow shop and shooting as many as you can. I'm in that process right now. Of the 2 I shot, limited time at shop for 1st visit, I preferred the Bowtech Assassin. I shot it and the Mathews Heli-m. Shoot what is in your price range and make a decision. You can buy a RAK, Ready Aim Kill, set up and all you will need is arrows, release and a target. Also factor in sites, stabalizers, d-loop, release, quiver, arrow and target if you choose a bare bow. And don't forget the case.
