What do you guys think the most effective motion decoy is? I know a lot of guys say just to get a jerk string, but if one really wanted to add a motion decoy to the spread what is the most effective? Regular mojo, mojo floater?
We do have a jerk string also, but have been looking at getting a motion decoy of some kind. Thanks! If it helps we mainly hunt ponds of different sizes and some lakes.

Mojo dove, I know you are probably refering to ducks though.

I've used a mojo floater for a couple of years now and have had good luck with it. I chose it over the standard mojo because it moves around the water while it's wings are spinning, giving the spread more movement. After talking to some people on here though it looks like I'll be trying a jerk rig this year. Heard a lot of great things about em.

take the money you would spend on that mojo and get as many wiggle butts or shaker decoys as you can.

If you are gonna get one, I like the floater. Don't have to carry a stake, they're a little smaller. And like any regular decoy super easy for picking them up and moving them around the spread or to a new local.

These seem pretty cool, not sure if they work...

I like this guy's idea, too... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2mXNqZqew8&feature=related

100% agree with this. Movement on the water is the real secret. Then a good concealed duck blind.

A jerk rig, when done right creates the most realistic movement in a decoy spread.

I made one of those diver/feeder things with a duck butt, seems pretty good, I need to make another.
