Selling my gun locally and cannot find a starting price. Does anyone know what a Berreta 686XT 12ga, 28in barrel should sell for?

What ever you find out do not attempt to sell it here at THF until you have 100 posts and cant list it in classifieds. Doing so will run a risk of being banned.

Check the online auction sites for pricing, Gunbroker is probally the largest one. You can get an Login there and search for actual sales and see the prices they have sold for
If you want to sell on here get to participating in the forum and 100 posts can come pretty quick.

If you live by a Gun Club that has Skeet or Trap, ect you may try
and post on their board..Many Competition shooters prefer the Beretta..DD
