If so how do you like it? Is it worth the price? Also are there extended mags for this yet?
I like the size and the fact I don't have to start using another caliber... But I did notice without the extended mag it was a bit small for my hand.

I heard mags arent the easiest to find and only come with one. I found a pretty good comparison the other day while googling it. I had a chance to buy one but passed for now.

Do you know what model you looked at. I'm looking for an Equinox. I held a nightmare at the Bullet Trap in Plano last week. But they only have that one and are not selling it. Just taking orders.

http://www.topgunsupply.com/sig-sauer-p938/These folks have a few, maybe still have some of the 6 round mags, didn't look that up. I have 3 7 round mags. on backorder with the Sig store currently. Looks like this one will take a few hundred rounds to break in. Had a few FTE's shooting WWB cheap stuff. No FTE with American Eagle, so not sure yet. Pistol is standard great Sig product. Will be moving up from the P238 as soon as I get the other mags and feel 100% percent sure no FTE will occur again. I'm running it wet while the break in is going on. Not much recoil, fits in the same holster as the P238 I'm using now. Pocket type. Happy with it, just need to get the other couple hundred rounds down range. Cheap stuff and defensive 147's/124's

Yes
Different pistol, different trigger. Trigger is not going to be bad, but it's not the P238 trigger. Only other Sig I have is the p226 E2 model with the quick reset trigger.
Really need several hundred more rounds down range to see how the trigger smooths out. The trigger, IMHO, is good right now, crisp. Pistol I have is in the first xxx400 range. Never owned one with such a low number before. Just need to take the time to get a few hundred more rounds down range, then going back to the WWB and see if I have any FTE.

Cheap stuff and defensive 147's/124's The short barrel will cause a drop in bullet FPS. The JHP's may not perform properly at reduced velocity. I recommend 115gr defensive loads or 124gr +P's like Speer Gold Dot. There are also specific ammo for short barrel handguns. Never used them, I just used lighter, faster bullets. I carry Gold Dot 124gr +P in both my 9mm's, P239 and XDm.

Thanks for the info. I was just buying something to shoot. Never shot a 147 in a 9mm. Just wanted to see the difference in recoil and shot placement. 99% of what I shoot is 115 cheap stuff. Carry is the Gold Dots.
I believe this P938 is going to be a great pistol for me to carry. Get the proper ammo, another mag or two, think I'll be good to go. Even though I really have liked the P238 as a small carry pistol.

Not related to the P938 but the P226. Years ago, 1988/89 when the agency I worked for used seized funds to purchase new guns and leather for all certified field and transport personnel we bought the Sig P226. The FBI was taunting the 147gr Win as the Best of the best. We were having some cycling problems, fail to eject and fail to feed and double feed. It was the low slide speed on mostly female employees limp wristing the guns. We dropped to 124 grain bullets and it was better then Speer came out with the 124 +P JHP's. The problems cleared themselves. Next we changed to the P226 in 357Sig..
That is why I said what I did about the heavier bullets in the compact gun. It also needs a certain amount of velocity to work properly.

I just picked one up at Academy Sports. They only had one and I was very surprised to see that it had both the standard mag and the extended mag included. Apparently they are shipping with both mags to Academy Sports.
Have not had the chance to fire it yet. It is very comfortable to carry in my front pocket.

I'm actually looking at getting a P938 myself. Going to go to a place here in the Metroplex this week sometime (if I find the time) and rent one for a day. CandRreviews on youtube gave them some not-so-flattering reviews after comparing them (at 7 yards on the range) to the M&P Shield, Glock 26, Kahr CW9 and the Ruger LC9. Two different experienced shooters were consistently shooting around 6 inches or so off-target. This could have been any number of issues though... I want to try one for myself.

You're quite Welcome, Tater. Came pretty close to buying the one they had the other day. Decided to hold off until I see more reports on them.

SaintsFan - can you tell me which place in the Metroplex has them for rent? Wouldn't mind trying one out myself before dropping $700+ to get one.

Well Tater, I was hoping Target Master would have them but they didn't. The guys there said they're in high demand and they haven't even gotten a rental pistol from the distributor yet. Looks like I'll be checking Bullet Trap. :-/. I hate that place but I need to try this new Sig!!!

I don't meant to wander off-topic here but since we're discussing sub-compacts, has anyone owned or fired the Para Ordnance Warthog? Those seem to be kind of hard to come by too.
