Looking to fill four openings on a 13 gun Deer Lease. 6000 +/- acres on the Spade Ranch located South of Colorado City in Mitchell Co. Prefer hunting couples, but all will be considered.
Not a year round lease. Lease begins the first day of the General Gun season and ends on the last day of Quail season. Bow hunting is allowed during General gun season only. We move our trailers on to the Ranch in October and off at the end of Quail season. Electricity is available. Water must be hauled and is available one mile away from camp. Access to the Ranch is permitted during the off-season to maintain feeders and blinds. This is on a daily basis only with no camping allowed.
No guest privileges. Junior hunters, age 16 and under, may hunt on sponsors' allotment of deer and must be accompanied. Hunters safety course and valid hunting license required. Only paid hunters are allowed to be in possession of a firearm and in the hunting areas. Cost of lease is $1400.00 plus electricity ( less than $100.00 a gun last year). This year there will be a one time charge to all members for needed electrical upgrades. This cost will be split 13 ways.

You can contact the Hunting Lease Manager of the Spade, Randy Bullard, at 325-728-3188... He might be able to fix you up.. There somewhere around 25 separate leases on this property...
