I read the posts from time to time and I am moved by the posts from the soldiers serving our country. I just want to express my gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to all of you for your sacrifice and dedication and for the sacrifice and dedication of your families. You exhibit true courage every day of your lives. May all of you and your families experience nothing but love and joy for the rest of your lives. Please let us know the best way to support you and your families so we can make a small difference to make your lives a little more tolerable. Thank you for your service to our country.

I never got deployed, as much as I wanted to, so I don't have any great pictures from the sand box but here are a couple I found pretty easily.

My Brother Zac...stationed in Bahrain and was just promoted to SGT.....DAMN Proud of my little bro....He said Toby Kieth put on one heckhuva show.....the next morning to celebrate, they woke up and did a 10 mile run.....

Tip of the Sword

I went to Iraq late 08 through mid 09 with B Trp 3/124 Cav doing convoy escort. Was a driver primarily, but also got some time in the turret of our ASV. I also drove/gunned a 1151 occasionally, but the ASV was my baby. If I one the lottery today I'd find a way to buy it back.

This was my usual crew, left to right, Sgt. Frye, Pfc Grey, and Sgt Womble. Pfc Grey was a fellow mechanic that just wanted to be out on the road with us. I'll never forget the times we had.

I snapped this photo on a return trip back to Adder/Tallil, honestly it was one of the few "beautiful" moments over there. I hope to remember that moment for the rest of my life.

Just wanted to give a special thanks to SapperTitan. Without guys like him doing his job, we may not have succeeded at our mission. Route clearance did a wonderful job over there making the roads safer for us. Thank you brother.

The Boy (Daxxon) at MEPS after signing up in the Delayed Entry Program. Ships out next June, will be US Navy, EM (if he doesn't get accepted to EOD)
