Buy American fool !! I'm trying but the bank acct says buy cheap. Guess I need to save up for what I really want, a sig 220 carry stainless elite or a compact Kimber/springer. I regret selling my Kimber crimson ultra carry every day!

Just bought one this past week it will be another week before I get to the range. But so far as fit and overall feel of the gun goes it seems like it will be a good shooter. After I get to the range I'll post a report of how well or bad it shoots.

Looks like a solid pistol. Rock island are really good economical 1911's and you cant beat a 400 price tag!! I bet it is just as reliable as your typical hi end 1911
