Howdy-
I am new to hunting and was looking to joing a group for the upcoming dove season preferably within 90 miles of Houston. I have looked at leases but dont really know what to be looking for. I have taken Hunter Ed and plan to practice shotgun skills well in advance of season. However, I could use some pointers as far as when to shoot, when not to, where to set up, etc.
I am 26, married, gainfully employed, looking for some good folks to hunt with. Will pay to get on a lease or will pay for day hunts.
Thanks. (Sorry if I posted this in the wrong area, please move if so)

I belong to a hunting club that offers dove day hunts in the Wallis, Sealy, Eagle Lake areas. If you're interested, let me know. We don't have many properties in the central zone but have plenty of leases in the south zone.

what part of town are you in? I work for a hunting preserve/gun club in the Katy area, and can put you in touch with the right people.
